fresh look + fresh outlook

I took a break from blogging.

Last Spring.

When I posted last.

I had some things to think over and pray about.

Lot's of things, like getting engaged. {Naw, not to be married.  Click the link, follow the blog.  It'll make sense after a while.}

So I had to get offline for a while and that's why I never posted.  I am slowly moving back into the blogosphere with a refreshed understanding of how precious and few the moments are that we have to steward for God's Kingdom.

The gardening has continued and we're steadily taking dominion over more and more of our property.

I have this dream - of stewarding every bit of living space, indoors and out, for the express purpose of giving glory to God.  Making every inch productive - whether producing food, beauty, medicine, wisdom or joy - or all five - it should be producing something that builds into the Kingdom of God.

And as if our little homestead isn't small enough, we're planning to move into a 35' motorhome by the end of this year.

Lord willin', I'll continue to garden.  In containers that ride down below, in the tiny kitchen windowsill, perhaps on a bumper garden.

(A bumper garden is not strange - it's genius, okay? :)

No matter how little, how tight, how odd - God's entrusted resources to my family to steward.  My father has, in turn, entrusted some of those resources into my care.

So, by God's grace, I will continue to work hard, to take dominion, to learn, to strive to bless my family.

What a glorious journey we're on.
